  • January 4, 2023

Congratulations to our staff who are now Certified Ambulance Coders (CAC) through the National Academy of Ambulance Compliance. The course was a 16 hour training, which is designed for billing personnel in the ambulance revenue cycle. It review patient care reports, procedure codes, diagnosis codes and modifiers. It addition to the coding, it teaches on filing ambulance claims, payments, appeal process and internal claim auditing.  By completing this training, it has made our billing office even more compliant, help us have fewer claim rejections, improve cash flow and our clients bottom line. Ohio Billing is proud of our employees for completing this certification and uphold the dignity of this profession. The National Academy of Ambulance Compliance offers many other certifications, including Ambulance Compliance Officer, Ambulance Documentation Specialist and their newest certification course is the Ambulance Financial Officer. We look forward to taking more of their certification classes to continue learning and growing.

Here at Ohio Billing, Inc. we strive to ensure our staff has the the best training to allow them to effectively and sufficiently complete the tasks at hand. There has been many changes with Ambulance Billing over the last few years alone, we want to ensure our clients that we are staying ahead of the game and see what is the horizon. Ohio Billing was able to apply for the Ohio Tech Cred Grant which helped off set the cost of the certifications. We want to thank them for choosing our company for this grant! We could not have done this without them!
